Smart Dedicated Servers
Offering the best of both worlds, these are dedicated servers but instead of running on the bare metal, your operating system is installed within a virtualised environment. You still get all the resources of the server to yourself, however it gives you an optional easy upgrade or downgrade path. You could take an existing virtual server and upgrade it to a smart (dedicated) server in the time it takes to copy your data. You’ll be back up and running on a new server in no time at all without having to set up a new machine or reconfigure anything.
